In 2012, after years of making cupcakes, cookies, and chocolate-covered strawberries for fun, it was STEEZ’s partner who saw the potential. He urged him to start an Instagram account under the name Sweets by Steez — STEEZ being a nickname at the time and after some hesitation, the journey officially began.

At first, it was just a handful of posts and a small following. But in 2014, everything changed when a loyal customer asked him to make her daughter’s Sweet 16 cake. STEEZ initially turned it down. He had never stacked or covered a cake in fondant. But she believed in him before he believed in himself. That one bold request unlocked a whole new chapter, pushing him into the world of custom cakes and sparking a self-taught journey that would grow into a career.

With a background in celebrity graphic design, STEEZ brought his signature eye for visuals and storytelling into the baking world, blending aesthetics with flavor and emotion. His cakes became more than dessert. They became experiences.

Fast forward to summer 2023. What started as a simple event to test the waters quickly became Cake & Sip, a viral, immersive experience where luxury cakes meet creativity, community, and main character energy. Created and led by STEEZ, Cake & Sip flips the idea of a cake class into a full-blown cultural moment.

From private events to cinematic recap videos that light up Reels and TikTok, STEEZ curates unforgettable moments. His setups are over-the-top. His energy is magnetic. And his mission is clear: to make people feel seen, celebrated, and creatively free whether they’re piping frosting or just catching the vibe.
